“You can Start with: THE BEAUTIFUL ANGELICA AND THE PRINCE (Part 1)”
Two weeks have gone by and still, she remembers him. Somehow, she found him charming and less arrogant as she had perceived before he met him. It was just a few hours, but it felt that it was the most special moment of her life. She was adventurous, industries and loving. However, she has never met someone who bothered her mind so. In few occasions, she found herself cursing herself for thinking about him. Liam had mentioned that she was a nobody and she had been so hurt, so hurt then when her madam called her a dirty slave, more than when the princess called her pig-faced. She always counselled herself that they were just bitter women because they could not always get their way, but she had the power to change her destiny. The pain she felt after the prince said the bitter truth to her was worse, maybe because she had liked him more than she could ever admit. She yearned for his touch and his closeness. However, she dismissed all those feelings and buried herself in work and her adventurous photography.
Prince Liam had a rough time convincing himself too. Angelica had crowded his thought and judgment. Only the three guards knew what was ailing him. He was desperate to find her and say how sincerely sorry he was. He had never found someone like her; so outspoken and confident. It was annoying, but he liked how insane he drove him. In most cases, girls would avoid going into the dark for fear of wild animals and malicious men who would rape them, but she saw a chance to advance her skill, to do what she loved even at the middle of the night. He thought it was charming and interesting. He had to find her and get to know her more. He did however not know where she lived nor what her other name was. Her name felt so sweet into his mouth. He had gone into the market for a whole week to try and find her and back to where he met her that night to no avail.
There was no point in thinking about him, Angelica thought. In two weeks’ time, she would be heading to campus. She decided to bury the feeling and be grateful that after all, she had a crush on someone. It was progress considering she had never thought she would like a guy and even miss being kissed and touched. She sometime thought she was not normal for not liking any man even those who tried so hard to please her. Her friends had questioned her sexuality, but she did not care about it. Even though she could not love Liam, she would always be grateful that finally, she knew she could love.
After a few months, prince Liam gave up searching. However, he hoped to bump into her one day. Her words kept echoing in his mind every time he would try to do something unethical. He reminded himself he was a leader and as such he was supposed to behave as one. He had more respect for himself and such he respected woman and had to say too many NOs to girls who threw themselves at him. He had changed internally and after some time, his parents and friends noticed and soon word had spread of how decent he had become.
Its true, some people appear in our lives just for a while to change our perception and attitude and for that, we should receive it whole-hearted and grateful to them for the new window of looking at things differently.
#character is what we do when no one is watching so lets remain intact in character even when there is no is around to judge us.
