Two people swept by floods at Lengusaka seasonal river drift after their vehicle was swept by raging waters as they tried to cross River Lengusaka in Samburu East.

The driver survived the accident with minor injuries after he managed to jump out of the car.

The drive is currently receiving treatment at Wamba Mission Hospital.

According to the residents, the drift has caused miserable suffering to the entire community and they are calling of the Kenya National Highway Authority to erect a standard bridge.
